Sliding roof vent

This roof vent slides back or hinges open, meaning workers do not need to reach over the edge of a tank to open it. This design can be opened without breaking the mid rail. Per API 650, a vent of this kind is required for each 10ft of tank diameter.

We started with a blank slate and changed the game with every aspect of our IFR and associated accessories.  There is no detail too small to be improved upon when it comes to safety.

DISCUS fixed roof circulation vents are heavy-duty powder-coated steel, hinged for inspection access and can slide open without interfering with the top-rail or mid-rail.  Each vent supplies 2 square feet of open area, net of the screen.  Per API 650, a vent of this kind is required for each 10ft of tank diameter.
